In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding a new driver or carrier to your FreightPrint account, ensuring a smooth experience for dispatchers.
To get started, navigate to the List of Carriers page. From your dashboard, select Carriers from the left-side menu, then click on Carriers/Drivers. This action will direct you to the List of Carriers page, where you can efficiently manage your drivers and carriers.
To add a new driver or carrier, click the green Add Carrier button located in the upper left corner. Fill out the required information, including the driver's address. Select from the auto-populated list, ensuring you enter the driver's mobile phone number accurately. This is crucial because it allows you to dispatch loads directly to the driver's FreightPrint app on their mobile device.
When you dispatch a load, it instantly appears on their registered app, eliminating the need for manual input or scanning. Therefore, it is essential to use the same phone number that the driver registered with the FreightPrint app.
Upload essential documents, including insurance, W-9, FMCSA, and CDL, using the designated fields. You can also add notes relevant to the driver.
Below the notes section, you'll find several options to enhance communication and access management:
Enable the Auto Scan feature to allow drivers to receive their FreightPrint loads automatically through their mobile app. With Auto Scan activated, loads are dispatched directly to the driver's FreightPrint app under the View Loads section. This feature not only saves time but also enhances workflow efficiency. If Auto Scan is disabled, the driver will need to manually input or scan each load to access them.
The final option is Send Broadcast. Choose this option if you want to include the driver in your broadcast lists. For further details, please refer to our broadcast video.
Once you've filled in all the required information, click Save. This action accomplishes several tasks: it creates a new driver or carrier in your account, adds them to your List of Carriers, and redirects you to the List of Carriers page, showcasing your new addition at the top.
Congratulations! You've successfully added a new driver or carrier to your FreightPrint account.
